Lan Zuo Gillet
Lan Zuo Gillet is the Deputy Managing Director of EPFL Innovation Park and Director of a Federal Entrepreneurship Training program in Western Switzerland. She previously served as Managing Director of Geneva Creativity Center - a platform bridging Geneva based companies and universities. From 2008 to 2012, she was appointed as Consul for Consulate General of Switzerland in Shanghai and was instrumental to launch Swissnex China and the Sino Swiss governmental bilateral cooperation program. She has over 20 years of professional experience and held senior management positions in private sector of Swiss watch and financial industries, in various functional areas such as R&D, marketing and corporate operational management.
Lan Zuo Gillet graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, earned an MBA from HEC Lausanne, a Ph.D. from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and research experience as postdoc at Stanford University.
David PRIESTLEY is a passionate connector, with a drive for customer service, and impeccably high expectations. He works for Lonza, a fast moving, demanding and agile company serving the Bio-Pharma and Specialty Chemicals industries globally.
At Lonza, he leads the enterprise wide agenda for all things relating to Talent Acquisition, including the global employer brand. A member of the Global HR Leadership team, his challenge – which he loves – is ensuring his organization is an enabler. As Lonza goes from strength to strength, and tracks an agile growth agenda, he needs to ensure that external talent needs
are met, both to sustain the current operations, as well as deliver against the growth agenda.
A Business graduate of the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland, David previously worked in the Oil industry. He was latterly Head of Talent Acquisition for TAQA, an international energy company headquartered in Abu Dhabi. Before that, he owned a consultancy supporting global oil and gas companies with attracting, selecting and retaining talent.
Sheena S Minhas is working in Group Talent Centre of Expertise, as Head GTP and Group Diversity & Inclusion Lead, based in Dubai, U.A.E. She has a diverse background working in both technical stream and Human Resource management. With an MBA degree from Symbiosis University and a Diploma from Indian Institute of Ahmedabad she has experience of over 18 years starting in Airforce in fighter planes controlling, moved to OD & Learning Head then HR Business Partner for diverse businesses. Sheena previously led a team in HR Business Partnering responsible for supporting Global R&D, Engineering operation and Shared services for all divisions of ABB.
Xiangdong Feng held a PhD in organic chemistry from the Freie Universität Berlin Germany in 2000 and worked for 5 years in the area of chemical process development and project management in Solvias Basel Switzerland, before he went back to China and joined Novartis in 2006. Over the 10 years he was the local key leader in Chemical and Analytical Development (CHAD) in China and member in global departmental leadership team.
Xiangdong Feng worked closely with global stakeholders and led China team to grow and become a center of excellence in global business. In 2016 he moved to Novartis headquarter in Basel and took a global role as Head of Strategic Planning and Project in the department.
Angela Bao joined Schindler as Senior VP Human Resources to provide services and support for over 10,000 employees in Schindler China.
Angela owns solid competences in organization and human capital development with over 20 years of HR leadership roles in State Owned Enterprises, Joint Ventures and Multinational Companies with diversity in culture and volatile business environment.
Angela has master degrees of FuDan and Tsinghua Universities and Insead.
Vera Xu worked more than 10 years for Roche Pharma in China with increasing accountabilities. She moved to Roche Headquarters in Basel in 2014 and since then held different global and regional roles. Vera has distinct knowledge of the commercial operations in Emerging Markets, which she has accumulated during various job rotations and international assignments. She’s currently the Head of FP&A EEMEA (East Europe, Middle East & Africa).
Vera holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. She is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in the UK.
Yan-Ping ZHANG SCHÄRER
Yan-Ping ZHANG SCHÄRER holds a PhD in Neurobiology from the University of Basel. After her Postdoctoral Fellowship at Friedrich Miescher Institute (FMI), Yan-Ping joined Roche in 2011 as a Business Analyst. After 3 years she joined the Data Science group in Pharma Research Early & Development (pRED) Informatics. Since 2014 Yan-Ping is working as a Data Scientist.
Daria BEKNAZARIANTS is a Talent Acquisition Partner responsible for supporting the recruitment needs for Europe and has hired over 100 new employees over the past two years. She has 7+ years of experience within Recruitment sector spanning different industries including life science and IT. Her goal is to hire professionals that best fit our culture and whose professional growth we can support to the fullest.
Miku FLEURY recently joined Ascensia as HR Project Analyst. She provides technical support to VP HR Europe / Emerging Markets for managing an HR organization across 25+ countries. This includes planning, preparation and meeting minutes for meetings, meeting logistics, and preparing agendas. Additionally Miku collaborates and supports HRBPs on a myriad of international projects.
Katharina KIRCHHOFF is a member of the CEIBS Management Team and handles all issues related to New Business Development, Client Relations, Sales and Marketing. Together with her Client Relations Team she is your contact person for individual or corporate programs offered at the CEIBS Zurich Campus, and can assist with any requests you may have regarding our various courses in China.
Before joining us, she worked in the luxury industry with leading international brands such as the LVMH Group in various leading roles during which her responsibilities included driving profit, boosting sales and leading teams.
Katharina – Executive MBA – studied at well-known Universities in Switzerland, the U.S. (UVA, Darden Business School) and Germany.
